Extended case: Jeongeup poultry barn conversion
A Jeolla operator converted a 1,200 m² poultry barn for six rows of 0.09 PH/s air-cooled miners. Sitecypresscore visited in late October before insulation was finished.
Constraints observed: Single shared ridge vent, landlord restriction on exterior louvers, and a recorded January low of −11 °C at the property weather station.
Actions in the report: Recommended splitting intake between north and south walls, upsizing pre-filters to Merv 11 for dust from adjacent fields, and staging commissioning in two phases so only three rows ran during the coldest fortnight.
Outcome: Operator followed the phased plan. Spring pool logs showed sustained output within 2% of rated hashrate. The operator noted our report’s electrical appendix was “denser than necessary” but used it successfully with their local electrician.
Extended case: Hoengseong container yard
Three side-by-side containers, each housing 0.11 PH/s, shared one intake corridor. Morning frost formed on the corridor floor, raising humidity at hashboard inlets.
Sitecypresscore installed temporary data loggers for 36 hours and documented RH spikes correlating with hashboard error counts. The report recommended heated intake flooring strips and separate exhaust stacks per container.
The operator implemented flooring strips only. Error rates dropped but did not reach zero until exhaust stacks were added the following season — a limitation they acknowledged in a follow-up note to us.
